Illegal T-shirts?

Last time I checked, the first amendment still read "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." So how come this guy got arrested at the mall for wearing a 'give peace a chance' t-shirt? And this student got sent home for wearing an anti-Bush t-shirt? Maybe you think that that kid's t-shirt was out of line.
